Easy Chicken Salad Recipe
Your holiday meal isn’t complete without this classic — a tasty side dish that’s simple to make and hard to resist. All it takes is a handful of fresh and easy-to-prep ingredients to quickly whip up what’s sure to become your go-to chicken salad recipe for special holidays, brunches and picnics. This summer recipe makes the perfect meal for your next get-together or a fun weeknight meal and is guaranteed to make you the talk of the table.
INGREDIENTS:
• 3 chicken breasts
• 8 cubes of chicken bouillon
• 1 stalk of celery
• 1 red onion
• 4 oz chopped walnuts
• 1/2 pound of red grapes
• 2-3 cups of mayonnaise
• 1 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 tsp salt
BEST CHICKEN SALAD RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Boil chicken breasts in 16 cups of water with chicken bouillon.
2. Shred chicken and set aside.
3. Dice celery, onion and grapes into fine pieces.
4. In a large bowl, add chicken, diced produce, walnuts, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and add additional salt and pepper to taste.
5. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then serve on rolls, crackers or sandwiches —adding a leaf of lettuce for sandwiches. Be sure to keep a pack of your favorite Vanity Fair® Paper Napkins on hand when ready to serve
